Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: July 24, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of the StoreShip Terms of Service you accept when you sign up. StoreShip, operated by AshWeb Inc., takes a web app you provide and packages and deploys it as a mobile app to the Apple App Store and Google Play. This AUP sets the rules for that service and cannot be overridden by any terms you write for your own app. AshWeb Inc. may update this AUP; continued use after the effective date is acceptance.

1. Your app is yours; StoreShip is a build-and-deploy service

You are the owner and operator of the web app you submit and of the mobile app produced from it. StoreShip provides the build, branding, code-signing, and store-submission pipeline as a service — it is a tool, not the publisher or seller of your app, and is not responsible for your app's content, features, data handling, or transactions. You are solely responsible for your app and for its compliance with all applicable laws.

2. You must have the rights to what you submit

You may only submit a web app that you own or are authorized to publish. You must not infringe anyone's intellectual property, and must not use another party's name, brand, trademark, or app identity without permission. The branding, icon, name, and content you provide must be yours to use.

3. App store and legal compliance

Your app must comply with the Apple App Store Review Guidelines, the Google Play Developer Program Policies, and all applicable laws. StoreShip submits your app on your behalf, but you are responsible for meeting these requirements; the app stores may reject, delay, or remove your app, and StoreShip is not responsible for their decisions. You are responsible for your app's own privacy policy, terms, disclosures, and any purchases made inside it.

4. Prohibited apps and uses

You may not use StoreShip to build or deploy an app that:

  • breaks any law, or facilitates illegal activity;
  • infringes intellectual property, or impersonates another person, brand, or app;
  • contains malware, spyware, or deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading functionality;
  • contains sexual content involving minors, non-consensual content, or content that is illegal or violates the app stores' rules;
  • collects or misuses user data unlawfully; or
  • attempts to breach platform security, evade fees, or abuse the build/deploy pipeline.

5. Enforcement — refusal, suspension, and removal

A violation of this AUP or of applicable law or store policy is a material breach of the Terms of Service. StoreShip may, with or without prior notice depending on severity, refuse or halt a build, withdraw or unpublish a deployed app, and suspend or terminate your account. A suspension for a violation is set by AshWeb and cannot be lifted by you; it is lifted only when the violation is resolved to AshWeb's satisfaction.

6. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AshWeb Inc. and its affiliates from and against any claim, demand, loss, or damage — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of your app, its content, your submissions, your end-user transactions, or your breach of these terms.

7. Reports and contact
